Hi, No. you will be required to resit for the whole level since the chances that you were given to resit the papers elapsed.

Yes. you qualify to do CPA only that you will start with the first level. there will be no exemptions

Hi, if someone did CPA section 3 and failed 2 papers, say they passed company law? What’s the way forward in the new syllabus and can they combine the papers now termed intermediate level in the new syllabus?
Hello, with section 3 you will repeat respective papers in the new syllabus. That is Financial Reporting and analysis and Financial management. You can combined the failed papers with Auditing and assurance or the whole of the remaining papers. Note: Public finance and taxation and Management accounting will be exempted (no exemption fee) for those who had done them in section 2

I did my section 1 in Nov 2015 but failed 1 paper.I did section 2 and the failed paper the next sitting.Passed section 2 but failed the Entrepreneurship I had sat for again..Its been over 2yrs now.Am I supposed to apply again for CPA courses with all documents and all the fees?In short is it the same registration process for a starter????And what about my registration number?
Hi, you will do section 1 then proceed to section 3 since you had pased section 2

Hello you will only do the failed units. However, if you stay for more than 2.5 yrs you will redo the whole section

You will register a fresh for CPA course
Asmin:when one applies for exception and kasneb grants him/her, is there anything like a transcript given out by kasne on the sections tht an exception has been granted.

Yes. You can book for CPA section 2 and the failed unit in CPA section 1. its allow ed d because they are in Part 1
I attempted CS part I papers while sick and I did Organizational behavior and Commercial law only.I didn’t do Business communication.The two papers i didn’t do well and i think i failed though no results released by today.Can I be allowed to do all the papers in November sitting for both CS part I&2?.If yes,for the paper that I didn’t attempt ,will I pay again to book the exam?.

If one fails section one of CPA and does not retake the paper you wait until you finish your bachelor of commerce degree(accounting option) will you be exempted from those papers if you have already done them in your course?
No. once you attempted a paper you cannot be exempted on it. CPA credits earned also has an expiry date you should pass the failed paper within 5 consecutive sittings

Yes. After completing KASNEB ATD Level 3 you will be given a certificate

No. You wont be exempted. You must have completed all CPA sections 1-6 for exemption to apply

Hi admin, I did my part one in 2015, but I failed some courses. Will I still be awarded a certificate b4 I redo the courses I failed?
there will be No certificate until you pass all the units in that Part. Note that after 2.5yrs from when you attempted those papers the first time. the credits you had in that section will be withdrawn and you will redo all the units if you still wish to continue

You can start with CPA just provide university result notifications or transcripts and a letter from your dean showing that you are a continuing student undertaking a degree course

You either do CPA or CIFA. CPA is an Accounting course while CIFA is a Finance course. I would advise you to do both but start with CPA

What happens .Admin please answer this coz sometimes a candidate may fall sick or be in a situation that may prevent him or her from sitting the whole papers.
In such a situation you should provide documents to show that you were not in a position to take exams and you can be allowed to sit for exams in the next sitting if the reason given and documents submitted are valid.

KASNEB does not grade CPA in that order. Its either PASS or FAIL

No. You cannot. KASNEB sets CPA exams and CIFA exams at the same time. You can only do one course at a time. After completing one of the courses then you can apply for exampted in the common units.
